The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of teacher's authority from the point of view of secondary school students. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to clarify the concept of authority related to its typology and the criteria of authority breakdown. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the teacher's authority and explains the connections of discipline and behaviour with authority in relation to the teacher's educational styles. The theoretical part of the thesis concludes with the personality of the teacher and the characteristics of the selected teaching styles. In the practical part of the thesis, the main task is to find out the general perception or evaluation of authority from the pupils' point of view, as well as what mainly constitutes the teacher's authority according to the pupils, which of the teaching and educational styles positively influence the teach-er's authority and which method is most often preferred by teachers to maintain discipline in the classroom. A questionnaire survey is used to result the objectives of the practical part of the thesis. The questions are directed to the respondents, i.e., the students at a gastronomy secondary vocational school and a secondary industrial school located in the Olomouc region. As a result of the exploratory investigation of the bachelor thesis it is found that the concept of au-torita is perceived by the pupils as respecting a person. Pu-pils evaluate the concept of authority as an important basis, especially for func-tioning in our society. Through authority, order is set, order is established and leads to decency. Teacher authority is based on professional-ness, conduct, fair-ness, and consistency. A teacher can strengthen his authority through teaching and educational style which is rich in knowledge, skills and directed towards under-standing and personality development of the students. As a means of maintaining discipline, teachers should use interesting teaching that raises pupils' attention and thus helps to maintain discipline in the classroom.

The Implementation of Ethic Education as a Supplementary Educational Subject in the Czech Republic

In this work we have been researching how Ethic Education influences the pupils behaviour and the social climate in the classroom. For this research we have used a mixed quantitative and a qualitative methodology. In the quantitative part we have realized our research through the natural experiment with one observed independent variable which applicated the programme of Ethic Education for basic school pupils and secondary school students in a period of one year. We have observed these dependant variables of pupils behaviour: the amount of the prosocial behavior, the amount of anxiety and the amount of the behavioural problems. In a group we have observed: the quality of the social climate and the amount of the trust. In the qualitative part we have tried to examine how pupils and teachers perceive Ethic Education and what principles they use for it. We have used these methods of collecting information: a nomination technigue, a questionary About Your Fellowstudents, a questionary About Your Emotions, a questionary CES, a questionary SDQ. In the qualitative part we have used a questionary with this open question: What has Ethic Education taken from me and given to me? Educational styles of secondary school teachers

The present thesis is devoted to educational styles of secondary school teachers. The literary overview describes progressively the most important educational environment of high school students - their family, school and peers. This section provides more detailed information about socialization in adolescence. The interaction with other people is considered as the starting point of their socialization. The concept of "significant others" (parents, teachers) as an irreplaceable factor of adolescent's development and growth is particularly highlights at the thesis. Follow-up to the characteristics of interaction and communication at pedagogical-psychological context the different views of educational styles of teachers and specifics that relate to the educational environment of secondary schools are introduced. In another part of the thesis a research project is proposed. It pays attention to secondary school teachers who teach "Pedagogy" and "Psychology" which are characterized briefly by their specific position in relation to the educational styles at the introduction. Characteristic educational style at contemporary Czech families

This Diploma Thesis deals with the style of education in contemporary Czech family. The aims of this thesis are to ascertain how educational style diverge in generations, which stimuli affect it and determine the changes in relationship between parent and child. In the theoretical part of the paper the terms family, generation and educational style are defined. The practical part reveals the fact that education style of contemporary parents is more liberal than the one of previous generation. Thus, the shift from parent-child to partner relationship can be observed. This relationship supports the parent's positive attitude towards their child and frankness in mutual discussions. A result of previous statement is also the change of teacher-pupil realtionship where the similar stimuli can be observed. The conclusion passage confirms the veracity of aim of this thesis and hypotheses from the practical parts. KEYWORDS: family, education, intergenerational change, educational style

Late parenthood and its influence on bringing up style of the child

The topic of the diploma work is the influence of the late parenthood on the style of upbringing. Late parenthood offers experience of the mature parent oriented in time who is aware of the responsibility towards oneself and towards thle child. Mental maturity and life experience determine attitude of the parent to upbringing. In my work I concentrate on healthy families which make the most suitable environment for the upbringing of the children. The natural environment of the healthy, functional family greatly influences the complexity of the impact in educational interaction between parents and the child.

The use of punishments and rewards in raising children

The main subject of this work are forms of rewards and punishments, and their most common use in the upbringing of children by their parents. The theoretical part of this bachelor work is focused on quoting important expertise and definitions that relate to the issue. It deals with the links between upbringing and pedagogical concepts as well as educational styles in the family. Also are described different concepts of rewards and punishments. Practical part is based on a survey. Through the research questions was investigated, which rewards and punishments occure in the society, with what frequency, and how the children perceive these rewards and punishments. The results are presented in tables and graphs, confronted with literature and commented.

Types of Education

My bachelor thesis deals with education, especially educational types, processes and methods to be applied in families with children. According to different authors describing and comparing types of education according to the criteria and the impact on the development of the child's personality. In addition, these types of detail describing not only in terms of their general characteristics, but also the positive and negative aspects. The historical roots of looking types of education, which until now affect the process. Then trying to create their own new typology, according to a comparison of each type of education. Finally by selected manuals describing as the ideal approach in education in families and positive factors for the formation of the child's personality. My goal is to map the different types and approaches and identify the most appropriate one for raising children to develop into a good and strong individual.

The Use of Didactic Guiding Styles in the Teaching of Sports Games on Secondary Schools in the District of Břeclav

This diploma thesis is focused on the use of didactic guiding styles in the teaching of sports games on secondary schools in the district of Břeclav. The research was made on randomly selected secondary schools by means of a questionnaire and an observation. The questionnaire was given to the teachers of physical education personally after finishing the observations of the lessons of physical education. The results gained by the methods of the questionnaire and the observation are processed into graphs and charts which are supplemented with brief comments. The gained results are given a more detailed commentary in the discussion section.
